![]() You said yourself you aren't interested in the Sony exclusives so it'd probably be pretty pointless to go for the PS5 then. I honestly wouldn't recommend you get the PS5 since other than the controller the first-party exclusives are the PS5's biggest feature in its favor. Or should I just say screw it, and stick with the Switch? All input is appreciated! ![]() I really want to play HL as soon as it’s released so if I’m going to upgrade I want to start looking for one ASAP before the holidays. ![]() And if I’m upgrading because of Hogwarts Legacy, will the haptic feedback on the PS5 be worth the extra money? Is that a better long-term purchase if the other Sony exclusive games don’t really appeal to me right now? HOWEVER, I do plan to replace my living room TV within the next year, and I grew up with PlayStations in the house so I’ve always preferred their controls (and honestly I don’t using like the Switch joy-cons in the Lego HP at all). And I don’t currently own a 4k TV, so I don’t know if I would notice a difference between the Series S vs X. I like the idea of the Game Pass so I can get familiar playing different types of games. Clearly I’m not a big gamer, but Hogwarts Legacy is the one game I’m beyond excited to play and I’m willing to upgrade my console if it’ll make the experience noticeably more immersive.įrom my research it seems like the Xbox Series S would be the most economical. It’s already out of storage space so I’ll need to get a memory card. I currently own a Nintendo Switch that I’ve only used for Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, and most recently the Lego HP collection. I’ve seen so many conflicting opinions on this.
